F&B Bar Manager
ATG San Francisco
Salary $70,000 to $75,000
Summary
The F&B Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing bar, lounge, ‘Deliver at Seat’ and concession operations across ATG San Francisco’s three Broadway Theatres, The Orpheum, The Golden Gate and The Curran Theatre.
This role ensures consistent delivery of high-quality beverage service, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a dedicated hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, advanced knowledge of beverage programs, and the ability to perform administrative and operational duties in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Manage daily bar, lounge, Deliver at Seat and concession operations across multiple venues
- Ensure operational efficiency to maximize revenues
- Lead bar, lounge and Deliver at Seat team to deliver exceptional guest experience
- Create and manage staff schedules to support business needs and minimize labor costs.
- Complete weekly and monthly tracking reports.
- Streamline workflows and implement efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health regulations, and operational standards.
- Ensure excellent inventory control is maintained in conjunction with Inventory Manager
Leadership and Staff Development
- Train, coach, and supervise bar, lounge and Deliver at Seat staff to maintain high service standards
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- Serve as a reliable leader, effective communicator, and supportive resource for team members
Beverage Program Management
- Execute and maintain creative, high-quality beverage and snack programs.
- Co-develop and test cocktail recipes while monitoring and applying emerging trends in cocktails.
- Ensure consistency and quality standards across all bar locations.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory processes, ordering, and cost control measures.
- Manage payroll submissions and related administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate documentation and organizational procedures.
- Utilize technical systems and software efficiently for reporting and operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a multiple unit manager of hospitality.
- Minimum 1 years of experience managing QSR, lounges, bars and/or concessions.
- Must be ServSafe Certified
- Must be RBS Certified
- Demonstrated experience creating and executing craft cocktail programs.
- Proven ability to manage scheduling, labor costs, and operational processes.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and technical skills.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills: ability to build relationships and lead effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on theater programming.
- Ability to work 8–10-hour shifts as required by the operation.
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must exhibit energy, passion, dedication, and a strong commitment to hospitality.
- Flexibility to work across three theater venues as part of a multi-location operation.
