POSITION: Premium Ambassador
LOCATION: San Antonio, TX
HOURS: Part-Time, primarily evening hours, including weekends, and some holidays.
Must be available to work a minimum of 5 Broadway and 3 non-Broadway events or 20% of the scheduled events per month.
COMPENSATION: $13.5/hr
ABOUT THE POSITION
• Reports to the Customer Experience Assistant Manager and the assigned House Manager and works closely with the Premium Experiences and Front of House teams during events. • Frontline hospitality professional responsible for elevating the premium customer experience at the Majestic Theatre, Charline McCombs Empire Theatre and The Espee. • Premium Ambassadors play a key role in ensuring a welcoming, safe and seamless experience for customers.
PEOPLE, PLACES, and THINGS
• Greets and engages with premium customers in premium spaces—including the Starlight Lounge, Ambassador Lounge, Ambassador Alcoves and The S.P. Lounge—ensuring customers feel welcomed to the venue and appropriately treated as a valued customer. • Attends pre-show meetings for event specifics, assignments and procedures. • Prepares premium spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization and guest readiness prior to customer arrival. Ensures spaces remain presentable throughout the event. • Checks in premium customers for their chosen experiences. • Answers questions and provides exceptional customer service. Anticipates customer needs and satisfies reasonable requests while always striving to exceed customer expectations. • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the venue, including seating locations, upcoming shows, and details related premium experiences. • Works collaboratively as a team member, working with others to ensure all required tasks are completed. • Proactively identifies risks to customer or staff health, safety or security and takes appropriate actions to keep everyone safe. • Provides support to Front of House when needed to quickly resolve customer issues or concerns. • Assists the Premium House Manager with any duties or tasks that may be assigned.

Have a great work ethic and care about quality. • Be observant and focused on the customer and their experience, ensuring safety and cleanliness. • Communicate effectively and relate well to others. • Professional appearance and demeanor. • Be proactive, decisive and get things done. • Think creatively. • Have ambition and drive. • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred. • Must be at least 17 years of age at the time of hire. • High school diploma preferred.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Ability to ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs and navigate venues in dim or reduced lighting. • Ability to work in confined spaces, including elevators and restricted areas. • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Ability to tolerate large crows and varying noise levels. • Ability to remain calm, courteous and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations. • Ability to follow established policies and procedures while using sound judgement.
