Position Overview

ATG Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic Head Box Office Treasurer to lead our Box Office Team at the Walter Kerr Theatre, currently home to the long-running musical Hadestown.

This role is a key member of our Front-of-House Team. The Head Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Box Office. We are seeking candidates who are collaborative, personable, and proactive in finding solutions.

The ideal candidate will join a high-energy, detail-focused team that plays a vital role in keeping our venues and hit shows running smoothly. The Head Treasurer will work within a collaborative, respectful, and driven company that is focused on providing the best experience for both our Guests and our Show Partners on Broadway.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising Box Office staff
  • Managing ticket inventory and sales
  • Handling revenue and transactions
  • Preparing and sending daily and weekly reports and reconciliations
  • Selling food and beverage packages
  • Assisting Theatre Management in resolving customer issues
  • Ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Working closely with Show Partners and Operations/Revenue Management Teams to program and price shows
  • Assisting Guests who purchase and pick up tickets in person at the Box Office
Job Requirements
  • Excellent organizational and management skills
  • Exceptional people skills
  • Ability to effectively work with Guests and Team Members, some of whom will require elevated levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy
  • Strong collaboration skills and commitment to exceptional customer service, treating all Guests and Co-Workers with respect
  • Experience in Box Office sales using enterprise ticketing systems such as AudienceView, SeatGeek, Ticketmaster, etc. (required)
  • Must be a member of Local 751, in good standing
  • Experience managing cash
  • A bachelor’s degree in a management-related field is preferred, though not required
